PRE ENGINEERED BUILDING
Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEBs) are the building components which are manufactured at a factory and assembled on site. Usually PEBs are steel structures and can be an alternative to conventional structural steel buildings. PEB structural components are fabricated at the factory to exact size, transported to site and assembled at site, usually with bolted connections.
Buildings are typically delivered in just a few weeks after approval of drawings. Foundation and anchor bolts are cast parallel with finished, ready for the site bolting. Use of PEBs have the potential to drastically reduce total construction time of the project. This also allows faster occupancy and earlier realization of revenue for building owners. Due to the systems approach, there is a significant saving in structural component design, manufacturing and on-site erection cost.
As pre engineered steel buildings (PEB) are a steel structure built over a structural concept of primary members, secondary members, roof and wall sheeting connected with each other and other building components. These buildings can be provided with different structural and non-structural additions such as cranes systems, doors, windows, turbo vents, ridge ventilators, wall lights, canopies etc as per the customer requirement. All the steel buildings are customs designed to be lighter in weight and heavy in strength.
